The Westrock Business Park developers asked for a wayfinding image beyond the scope of an ordinary ground level sign, read at a distance from the road at speeds of 50 miles per hour. The Business Park is in a rural location where farms and agricultural buildings remain. Borrowing from local hay barns, tractor sheds and windmills, the Pavilion updates this imagery into a unique ensemble of familiar parts. The resulting structure, freestanding in field at the intersection of the main bypass and Park access drive, is a modern roadside attraction.
